Jewish Family Service Vaccinates 275 Individuals at Vaccine Clinic in SE Denver

Jewish Family Service of Colorado partnered with Denver Public Health and the Denver Fire Department to administer the two-dose Moderna vaccine to 275 individuals. The clinic, the first in southeast Denver, provided the vaccine to underserved populations such as older adults, people of color, and those with disabilities. Clients facing food insecurity also received food boxes from the JFS Weinberg Food Pantry. The clinic was also open to eligible employees of Tamarac Square Shopping Center businesses.

The event was attended by Mayor Michael Hancock and District 4 Councilwoman Kendra Black. JFS is thankful to the City of Denver and the Department of Health and Environment for helping to make the drive-thru clinic possible and to our neighboring businesses Benihana, Las Caras, China Beijing, Target, among others. Because of the event's success and to serve even more people in southeast Denver, JFS plans to host more clinics in the immediate future.
