Help 400 Families Enjoy a Thanksgiving Meal

Life revolves around the dinner table, and it’s the center of the family for holidays. Maybe yours is filled with familiar faces, laughter, stories, and traditions. It’s a space to gather, connect, and feel a sense of belonging. However, due to job loss and other economic factors made worse by the pandemic, many families in our community are struggling, and their tables are less hopeful.

According to the New York Times, “Thanksgiving 2021 could be the most expensive meal in the history of the holiday. Nearly every component of the traditional American Thanksgiving dinner, from the disposable aluminum turkey roasting pan to the coffee and pie, will cost more this year.”

You can plant the seeds of gratitude and produce a harvest of hope for 400 families in our community. By donating to the Dorinda Levy Thanksgiving Fund, you can help JFS provide nourishment for the body and soul.

A donation of $87 provides a family of four with everything they need to make a complete Thanksgiving meal . . . and priceless memories. Your donation allows JFS to purchase items at significantly reduced costs, which maximizes the impact you make.
