JFS Boulder Presents a Series of Lunchtime Events!

Join JFS Boulder for any or all of the following virtual lunchtime events:

10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s
Thursday, June 17, 12:00 p.m.

Presented by Ralph Patrick, Greater Boulder, Mountains and Western Colorado Regional Director, Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado

Alzheimer’s and other dementias cause changes in memory, thinking and behavior that interfere with daily life. Join us to learn about ten common warning signs and what to look for in yourself and others, typical age-related changes, how to approach someone about memory concerns, early detection, the benefits of a diagnosis, the diagnostic process, and Alzheimer’s Association resources.

Medicare 101
Thursday, July 15, 12:00 p.m.

Presented by Maggie Benton, SHIP Medicare Counseling, Boulder County Area Agency on Aging

Our Medicare presentation provides an educational overview of the Medicare basics. Learn more about Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans, prescription drug coverage, and available resources in Boulder County Area Agency on Aging. This is a good first step before you start to compare plans and choose one that is right for you. It is good to prepare before you turn 65 and a great review! During the presentation we will provide information and selfscreening tools regarding resources for financial help with Medicare costs. This presentation is offered by SHIP certified Medicare counselors, no selling involved, only non-biased information and facts.
